How do I get to Brno?

By plane. Brno has a small international airport (BRQ) with regular Ryanair flights to London, Malaga and Bergamo. The nearest international airports are in Vienna (VIE), Bratislava (BTS) and Prague (PRG), all these cities are easily accessible by train or bus.

By train. The main train station in Brno is Brno-Hlavní nádraží, located in the city center. Brno has direct train connections to Prague, Vienna, Bratislava, and Budapest. With one transfer, you can also reach Berlin and Warsaw. More info about the connections and tickets can be found at cd.cz, bahn.de, tickets.oebb.at, slovakrail.sk or mavcsoport.hu.

By bus. Brno has two bus stations. The Brno – hotel Grand bus station is located in the city center near the train station, many international buses arrive here. The Zvonařka bus station is south of the train station. You can find bus connections at flixbus.cz, slovaklines.sk and other bus companies.

By car. Brno is easily accessible by car via highways from Katowice (Poland), Prague, Bratislava (Slovakia), and Vienna (Austria). There isn’t a large parking lot right next to the PG venue, the nearby lots primarily used by local residents. Please note that parking is charged from 5 PM to 6 AM. If you're driving, we recommend parking at your hotel’s lot and using public transport to get around the city.

How do I get to the venue by public transport?

The closest public transport stops to the venue are the Erbenova bus stop and the Zemědělská tram stop.

First, get to the main train station – Hlavní nádraží.

The Hlavní nádraží tram stop is right in front of the train station, and it’s also close to the Hotel Grand bus station, where many international buses stop, including the bus E76 from the airport.

From Hlavní nádraží tram stop, you can catch trams number 7 (towards Zemědělská) or 9 (towards Lesná or Čertova rokle) to reach the venue at the Zemědělská stop, which is a 13-minute ride away. Trams 7 and 9 travel in opposite directions as they loop around the city center via different routes. However, their tracks converge at Jugoslávská street and continue together to Zemědělská tram stop.

From the JAK student housing you can catch the bus 46 from Štefánikova čtvrť to the Erbenova stop right outside the venue.
